Presentation

When I was a little girl, my brother and I used to play pretending that I was a teacher and he was a student. Years later, after finishing secondary school, I changed my mind, under my father’s influence, and decided to take up Computer studies ( never seen a computer in my life!), the following year, Accountancy caught my eye.
During those years, I never stopped thinking that teaching was my thing. That was the time I needed to face my father and told him my decision. He got so angry that he didn’t speak to me for almost a week! Three years later, I became a teacher at primary level. At that point, my father was proud of me and helped me preparing material for that practicum period. His first rejection had turned into admiration and support towards this noble and rewarding job: “ Teaching”.
Studying at Lenguas Vivas with Cris, my faithful partner in this adventure, has showed me a completely new world, specially with technology!
I have been waiting for this degree all these years yet life has gifted me with another one as a mum! Pedro, now aged three, has arrived to make my life unpredictable but lovely indeed.
I could have never been at this stage without Cris, and Valeria’s unconditional   help  and my family support. In this journey, I have also met incredible people like Gilda, a new friend, who is always offering a helping hand.
Collenn Wilcox states that teaching is the greatest act of optimism… and here I am giving it a try.
